Conferences & Events Coordinator
Hypenica is looking for a Conferences and Events Coordinator to join our Academic Marketing department to manage our presence at conferences and events in the US, UK and Europe.
Job Description:
This role requires someone who is extremely organized, able to multi-task, and has exceptional planning and communication skills.
Skills:
• Bachelors Degree
• Extremely organized and able to multi-task
• Oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) necessary
Responsibilities:
• Creates and maintains a global spreadsheet of academic conferences that we are attending, with planning dates
• Monitors budget and spending in relation to conferences
• Tracks staff attending across departments, registers all attendees
• Liaises with marketing to prepare title list – works with warehouses to ensure and track shipments
• Maintains contracts for 3rd party exhibitors liaises with subject marketer on what books to send and arranges shipments
• Manages conference supplies: signage, table drapes, bookstands, toolkits, etc.
